Job summary

Gastro Florida is seeking competent, conscientious, and service-oriented individuals to join our gastroenterology offices in the Tampa Bay area. You will support clinicians in exam rooms and perform front desk functions including check-in/check-out, billing, scheduling, and phone-related tasks.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 2 years in a medical office, with EMR experience. Some openings may require Spanish fluency. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 2 years of medical office experience, including at least 1 year in a specialty practice.
• Some openings will require Spanish fluency.
• Utilized EMR / practice management systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients in a courteous manner.
• Check-out patients and collect remaining balances.
• Schedule office appointments and required procedures.
• Handle billing, scheduling, and telephone-related tasks.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and assist with daily billing reconciliations.
