Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Production Assembler in Richmond, VA to assemble gasket plate heat exchangers, using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality through SOPs. You will participate in daily 5S routines and continuous improvement projects, contributing to safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School or GED minimum.
• Crane & Forklift certifications preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Able to read drawings, blueprints, manufacturing orders etc.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components with hand/power tools following procedures and blueprints.
• Perform quality checks and document processes.
• Maintain a clean workspace and participate in 5S routines.
• Report safety, quality or equipment deviations to leaders.
• Engage in continuous improvement and KAIZEN activities.
• Lift materials and operate lifts as trained.
