Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an assembly teammate to support gasket plate heat exchanger production in the U.S. You will assemble products per diagrams and SOPs, perform quality checks, document data, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Daily duties include following blueprints, reporting deviations, and participating in 5S and KAIZEN improvements. You will lift materials as needed and collaborate with other assemblers in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Quality control and inspection to standards.
• Document production forms and assembly data.
• Follow SOPs and blueprints to complete production tasks.
• Identify deviations and report to team leaders.
• Suggest improvements to standard operating procedures.
• Pursue 5S practices and waste reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with other assemblers and rotate tasks.
• Lift raw materials and finished items safely.

Responsibilities

• Quality control: Inspect work for defects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Documentation: Complete production forms, reports, and record assembly data.
• Receive daily work assignments and execute production following SOPs and blueprints.
• Report deviations to Status Boards and update Team Leader/Manager.
• Engage in daily 5S routines and KAIZEN improvements.
• Cross-train across processes and suggest value-adding changes.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with teammates and rotate tasks as needed.
• Lift materials and finished goods using lifts when required.
