Job summary

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer - Gas Utility HT to apply engineering and project management expertise on New Product Development initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive design, testing, and production readiness while coordinating with global suppliers and manufacturing.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 2+ years of related experience, and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Willingness to travel domestically and overseas (incl. Asia).
Ability to manage several simultaneous projects.
Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and materials knowledge.
CAD experience required; NX preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads small to medium scale engineering projects under supervision.
Collaborates cross-functionally with AQE, Product Marketing, Industrial Design, Purchasing, Finance, and others.
Evaluates designs for selection, cost, and manufacturing processes.
Maintains manufacturing communication; conducts on-site visits as needed.
Monitors project progress and provides weekly status updates.
Requests and performs tests per procedures.
Interprets data and makes design recommendations.
