Atmos Energy is seeking a field service professional in Texas to support customer connections and disconnections, read meters, and ensure accurate billing records. You will operate wireless meter reading equipment and assist with emergency response while upholding safety standards.

The role requires effective communication with customers, adherence to DOT/PHMSA safety guidelines, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Basic computer/data entry skills for work orders and records.
• Commitment to safety in field operations and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for service connections and disconnections.
• Install, program, and operate Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment as needed.
• Read meters and record usage for billing and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for company and regulatory requirements.
