Job summary

Atmos Energy is hiring for a Construction role. The worker will perform basic, routine tasks using prescribed procedures and assist in installing and maintaining gas lines, meters and regulators. They may participate in leakage surveys and must complete safety training and all required certifications.

The position involves outdoor work in various weather, potential stand-by duty, and occasional overnight travel. A valid driver’s license and safety-conscious approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a General Educational Development (GED) or high school diploma.
• Requires valid driver’s license in accordance with Company standards.
• Must obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQs) and classroom training for the Construction Learning Path or other required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic, routine work using clearly prescribed procedures.
• Assists in the installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters and regulators.
• May assist in conducting leakage surveys.
• Completes and maintains accurate records and reports to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
