Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Assembly Technician II at our Greenville site to build and repair advanced gas turbine components. You will read drawings, align parts, and perform quality checks while adhering to safety and productivity standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and experience with mechanical fit-up and lifting equipment. The role offers growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in manufacturing or industrial assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints/engineering drawings independently.
• Experience with component fit-up, alignment and mechanical adjustment to specification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble gas turbine components per drawings and specs.
• Interpret drawings, material lists and job aids to ensure accuracy.
• Align and position components using cranes and lifting devices.
• Perform quality checks and document measurements to meet specs.
• Support team flow and assist less experienced assemblers.
