Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Turbine Technician;Jport to perform assembly, disassembly, testing, prep, and de-prep of LM6000, LM2500 and LMS100 gas turbine engines and modules. The role involves routing, inspection, documentation, and problem solving to support production while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years in aero-derivative gas turbine environments (or an A&P license), plus ability to read English technical materials and

Qualifications

• English reading/comprehension of technical manuals and procedures.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Experience with aero-derivative gas turbines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routing of engine hardware and material in support of the assigned area.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of gas turbine engines and components for serviceability.
• Maintain records and documentation per the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Troubleshoot in-process problems and use precision measuring instruments and tools.
