Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Assembler II for our Greenville, SC site to assemble and align gas turbine components, read engineering drawings, and perform precision assembly using cranes, fixtures, and power tools. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints or engineering drawings independently.
• 2 years of manufacturing or industrial assembly experience required.
• Experience with large-scale mechanical/electrical assemblies.
• Ability to read measuring devices and verify quality during assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble gas turbine, compressor, rotor and related components per drawings.
• Align and position components using cranes and lifting devices.
• Drill, ream, dowel, bolt components to specification.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Operate assembly fixtures and hand/power tools.
• Support team with task flow and safety compliance.
