Job summary

Puget Sound Energy in Washington state seeks a Technical Training Program Manager for Gas Training to lead the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of highly technical learning solutions for Gas Operations. The Gas Training Team operates out of the Operational Training Center in Puyallup and offers hybrid work flexibility.

The role requires partnering with operations managers, supervisors, and subject matter experts to identify training needs, close gaps, and continuously improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of training and development, operations, IT, or engineering experience; experience translating technical content into learning solutions.
• Recognized as an expert in the specialty by the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
• Proficient with word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications.
• Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve existing highly technical training programs and develop new programs, within ADDIE or SAM frameworks and in accordance with compliance, operations, systems, and safety requirements.
• Lead and coordinate the work of instructional designers, training analysts, facilitators, subject matter experts, vendors, and other contributors.
• Partner with business stakeholders and learning and development professionals to build and improve training programs that meet business needs and improve operational readiness.
• Some travel throughout the service territory may be required.
