Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Operator Qualifications (OQ) and on-the-job training.
• Ability to use company's internet/intranet for data entry.
• Effective communication with customers.
• Safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic work using clearly prescribed procedures.
• Respond to service requests including connections and disconnections.
• Inform customers of repairs and ensure understanding.
• Install, program, and operate Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment.
• Read meters and record usage for billing.
