Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) in Omaha, NE is seeking an Associate Gas Scheduling Analyst or Gas Scheduling Analyst to support nominating natural gas purchases, sales, and storage activities. This foundational role develops expertise through structured training and hands-on experience working with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate, timely gas transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• One year of customer service skills preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and directions daily.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for nominating natural gas purchases, sales and storage activity.
• Adheres to strict time constraints for original and intraday nominations.
• Gains knowledge of gas transmission systems and rate/fuel information.
• Monitors natural gas imbalances across suppliers, markets, and storage.
• Enters nomination activity into TMV’s gas nomination system.
• Communicates deviations from scheduled nominations with TMV staff and customers.
• Assists in verification of invoices from transmission companies.
