Job summary

Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) seeks a highly analytical Quantitative Analyst in Omaha, NE. You will lead the design and development of models and analytics to optimize transport and storage in the natural gas value chain.

You will work with a team of quantitative, technical, and business professionals to translate complex problems into practical solutions, building production-ready tools while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantitative Discipline (e.g. Data Science, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Financial Engineering) required.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one of MATLAB or R; ability to write clean, scalable code.
• Experience with graph data structures and algorithms in analytical contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of models, simulations, and analytics to optimize transport and storage in the natural gas value chain.
• Translate complex business challenges into analytical solutions using first-principles thinking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver production-ready analytics.
