Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Gas Scheduler to manage daily nominations, confirmations and scheduling for regional assets. You will collaborate with shippers, Gas Control, Operations, and Accounting to ensure accurate, timely flow and volume management.

The role offers rotating shifts (office days and after-hours from home), requires strong analytical and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 0–5 years in gas scheduling. Travel is occasional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 0–2 years for Associate Gas Scheduler; 2–5 years for Gas Scheduler; 5+ years for Senior.
• Familiarity with natural gas scheduling concepts and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform nomination, confirmation and scheduling functions in accordance with contracts and regulations.
• Manage customer relations / customer service.
• Assist with basic system testing on projects or system issues.
• Assist with customer training materials for applicable system software.
• Execute Monthly Close processes timely to meet accounting deadlines.
• Provide information for internal and external audits, including FERC and SOX.
• Collaborate with shippers, Gas Control, Operations, Accounting, Marketing and Commercial groups as needed.
• Manage shipper and OBA imbalances daily.
• Assist with volume management during plant and pipeline upsets and maintenance.
• Provide analytical support to optimize pipeline assets.
• Monitor downstream pipe EBBs for OFOs and communicate to Gas Control and shippers.
• Ensure scheduled volumes are within measurement and operational capacities.
