Job summary

WhiteWater Midstream, LLC. seeks a Gas Scheduler to perform wholesale natural gas scheduling to support its Marketing & Logistics division. You will work with the trading desk to execute daily nominations, manage flows, and ensure physical delivery across pipelines in the Lower 48.

The role requires experience scheduling for a merchant trading book, the ability to act under time pressure, and strong collaboration with risk, contracts, and accounting teams to ensure P&L accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of natural gas scheduling experience at a merchant marketing or trading company, scheduling in direct support of a trading desk.
• Hands-on experience scheduling a trading book, including intraday trade changes and transport/pool management.
• Knowledge of NAESB nomination cycles, pipeline EBBs, and tariff procedures.
• Experience with ETRM systems (Allegro preferred) and scheduling tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submit timely nominations for physical gas purchases, sales, and transportation across pipelines.
• Work with traders to schedule trades, intraday changes, and cuts, keeping flows aligned with commercial intent.
• Schedule transport, pooling, and storage to support desk positions.
• Monitor pipeline constraints and adjust nominations to avoid penalties or imbalances.
• Confirm volumes with pipelines and resolve scheduling discrepancies.
• Track scheduled vs. actual volumes and support imbalance management.
• Maintain transaction and confirmation records in the ETRM system (Allegro).
• Collaborate with risk, contracts, and accounting to support daily P&L accuracy.
• Stay informed on market fundamentals, weather, and pipeline events affecting flow reliability.
