Job summary

Intersect is seeking a Natural Gas Scheduler / Cash Trader to join the Origination and Trading team. In this remote role, you’ll balance physical positions, manage next‑day and intra‑day gas trades, and optimize pipeline transport capacity.

You will ensure seamless trade capture, OFO and imbalance management, and alignment with back‑office settlement, while supporting cross‑functional risk and compliance in a fast‑growing energy desk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or engineering.
• 3+ years in physical natural gas scheduling.
• Experience with intra-day/next-day gas trades.
• ETRM platforms and trade capture knowledge.
• Willing to rotate weekend/evening on-call.

Responsibilities

• Trade daily next-day and intra-day physical gas.
• Manage pipeline nominations and logistics.
• Optimize capacity, storage, and supply.
• Ensure systems capture trades in real-time.
