Job summary

bp is seeking a Natural Gas Scheduler in Houston to support the efficient, reliable, and safe execution of the regional supply plan. You will coordinate scheduling of physical movements into and out of supply networks, balancing commitments and collaborating with trading and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong analysis, problem solving, and communication skills. It offers a hybrid work model with in-office days and remote Fridays, plus weekend and holiday

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative-taking and independent problem solver with ability to interact across teams.
• Ability to multi-task and manage high pressure situations with critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Make natural gas nominations to North American pipelines using appropriate systems.
• Manage and track imbalances on pipelines to ensure flow.
• Communicate market intelligence to trading teams to support decisions.
• Identify efficiencies and improvements in operational processes.
• Monthly balancing in OpenLink Endur.
• Maintain relationships with pipelines, customers and internal teams.
