Job Title: Northeast Natural Gas Scheduler

Location: Houston, TX

Job Overview:

The Northeast Natural Gas Scheduler will manage daily physical gas scheduling across key Northeast pipeline systems. This role is responsible for timely and accurate nominations, optimizing gas flows, coordinating with suppliers and counterparties, and ensuring compliance with contractual and pipeline requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Submit daily and intraday nominations on major Northeast natural gas pipeline systems.
• Track, monitor, and optimize physical gas flows to ensure efficient receipts and deliveries.
• Communicate with pipeline operators, suppliers, and traders to verify scheduling accuracy and resolve any issues.
• Manage pipeline imbalances and coordinate with counterparties to minimize exposure.
• Maintain accurate data in pipeline EBB systems and internal scheduling platforms.
• Support optimization of transportation and storage assets.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience scheduling physical natural gas, ideally with Northeast or Mid‑Atlantic markets.
• Familiarity with key regional pipelines including Algonquin, Transco, TETCO, TGP, Millennium, and Eastern Gas South.
• Strong understanding of natural gas fundamentals, pipeline operations, and rate structures.
• Ability to manage imbalances and operate within pipeline grid constraints.
• Proficiency with Excel and scheduling or risk‑management software.
• Strong communication, analytical, and time‑management skills.
