Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks a Gas Scheduler to perform nomination, confirmation and scheduling for pipeline assets, coordinating with Gas Control, Operations, and Commercial teams. The role supports monthly close, audits and training materials while ensuring accurate scheduling and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, have 2–5 years in gas scheduling or related activities, and be comfortable with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; related gas scheduling experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• On-call availability for assigned assets and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform nomination, confirmation and scheduling functions according to contracts and regulations.
• Manage customer relations and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with system testing and with customer training materials for applicable software.
• Execute Monthly Close processes to meet accounting deadlines.
• Support internal/external audits (FERC and SOX) with required information.
• Collaborate with shippers, Gas Control, Operations, Accounting, Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure smooth daily/monthly operations.
• Monitor shipper and OBA imbalances daily and manage volume in maintenance periods.
• Provide analytical support to optimize pipeline assets and monitor EBBs for OFOs.
