Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination/experience.
• Five years’ experience supervising a construction crew and working in grading, structural, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities for large teams.
• Working knowledge of equipment and their appropriate applications.
• Excellent communication skills (oral/written) for owners, vendors, and employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Visio).
• Superior organizational, scheduling, planning and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct on-site Assistant Trade Superintendents and Forepersons to maximize productivity and control costs.
• Schedule labor, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors to optimize resources.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and other Superintendents to plan staffing and resource sharing.
• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce safety regulations on site; address concerns with Site Manager.
