Job summary

Blattner is expanding its energy construction leadership into gas power generation, seeking a Site Safety Tech to implement site-wide safety programs in the field. You will lead safety audits, incident management, and policy guidance while mentoring crews and subcontractors to uphold safety standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in safety, BCSP preferred, 2+ years of construction safety experience, and ability to relocate to the project site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or health required or equivalent experience.
• BCSP certification preferred. Minimum 2+ years construction safety experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR and ability to relocate to project site.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for risk assessment and incident analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide safety programs, audits, and incident management.
• Advise site leadership on safety policy, practice, and complex issues.
• Coach teams to identify hazards and ensure hazard elimination.
• Manage compliance with Drug/Alcohol Testing and Return-to-Work programs.
• Draft reports with findings and corrective action recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve policy questions.
