Job summary

Western Midstream seeks a Gas Plant Operator to join the Pecos-area West Texas operations. You will operate and monitor equipment across the Comanche Plant, ensuring safe, compliant performance on rotating 12-hour shifts with nights and weekends.

Required is 1 year of gas plant ops experience and a high school diploma, plus a valid driver's license. Strong teamwork, communication, and basic MS Office skills are essential to coordinate with field teams and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year gas plant operations or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of oil and gas operations and related equipment required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
• Operate engines, compressors, furnaces, distillation towers, expanders, motors, pumps, valves and alarms.
• Analyze flow streams and adjust process parameters to maintain product specs.
• Prepare maintenance orders and monitor equipment; generate production reports.
• Monitor inlet/outlet volumes and coordinate with gas control and field ops.
