Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. in Mentone, TX is seeking a Plant Operator to oversee day-to-day operations of gas processing and pipeline systems, ensuring safe, reliable performance across amine treating plants and related equipment.

You will monitor process conditions, perform routine maintenance, respond to alarms, and work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule as part of the Operations team. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic technical training, and the ability to work

Qualifications

Must have basic math: percentages, ratios and proportions.
Ability to read and record operating conditions (pressure, temperature, hours of operation).
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors around industrial equipment.
Must live within one hour response time of the plant.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Operate natural gas amine treating plants and pipelines via SCADA and onsite controls.
Start-up and shutdown of plant equipment and adjust controls.
Inspect equipment and perform minor maintenance and lubrication.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; monitor alarms and records.
Coordinate with supervisor and contract labor on maintenance activities.
