Job summary

Avangrid seeks a Manager - Lead Supervisor for Gas Ops. Distribution to oversee gas construction, maintenance, and field supervision in a safety‑driven environment. You will mentor supervisors, coordinate crews, and ensure compliance with standards and budgets.

Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking are essential, along with knowledge of NEC/NESC, Hazmat, and OSHA. Requires relevant degree with years of experience; office-based role in Geneva, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience preferred.
• Associate’s with a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required with 10 years’ relevant experience.
• Knowledge of gas work and construction.
• Knowledge of gas distribution construction and maintenance, labor agreement, safety manual, leak detection methods, procedures and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of industry codes including NEC, NESC, Hazmat, and OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gas construction and maintenance activities to ensure safety and compliance.
• Mentor supervisors and coordinate field activities with company and contractor crews.
• Plan and schedule work, allocate crews and equipment, and manage materials.
• Administer documentation, time sheets, and safety audits while maintaining records.
