Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Gas Maintenance and Construction supervisor to oversee field crews and projects for our gas distribution system. You will coordinate maintenance and construction activities, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and communicate with customers and officials.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years in gas distribution, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Gas Distribution or utility operations.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; Operator Qualifications must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and manages gas field workload with accurate coordination and scheduling.
• Supervises in-house crews and contractors for gas distribution work.
• Communicates with customers and community officials about construction and service delivery.
• Acts as on-scene supervisor during outages; classifies gas leaks and follows procedures.
• Participates in supervisory on-call rotation and directs work of unionized crews.
