Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Six months of vocational training preferred.
• Five years in gas distribution, maintenance, propane, service, or installation; supervisory or lead experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Supervise gas department operations and guide technicians.
• Monitor job sites, schedule contractors, and verify layouts.
• Investigate leaks, tampering, fuel loss, and communicate findings to techs.
• Prepare daily tasks, reviews, and billing documentation.
• Respond to gas leaks and emergencies as a first responder.
• Attend departmental and cross-functional meetings.
• Train and supervise gas technicians and enforce safety.
• Generate cost analyses and monitor budgets.
• Provide monthly performance data.
• Interact with customers on inquiries and billing.
• Oversee warehouse and meter shop staff and inventory.
• Prepare purchase orders and bid docs.
• Schedule meter investigations and replace meters/ERTs.
