Job summary

Peoples Gas System in Florida seeks a Supvr Gas Operations to oversee gas operations, SCADA systems, and technicians. You will manage schedules, budgets, alarms, and troubleshooting for the Florida gas transmission/distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Valid Driver's License.
• At least 10 years in Gas Transmission/Distribution engineering, design, operations, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and DOT requirements for natural gas operations.
• Understanding of maintenance and calibration of gas measurement equipment, large meter sets, AMR devices and SCADA equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains SCADA system functionality and analytical tools.
• Monitors SCADA and Metretek data integrity and suggests improvements.
• Plans and manages budget and cost monitoring for Gas Operations sub-area.
• Manages alarms and dispatches I/C Technicians to resolve issues.
• Leads Gas Ops and Compressor Technicians using leadership programs and schedules.
• Provides operational support for the Gas Operations team via PGS Essentials system.
• Tracks daily and monthly volumes for suppliers and industrial customers.
• Owns daily nominations scheduling and confirmation in the Gas Management System.
