Job summary

TC Energy is offering a Student Intern position to support field operations around natural gas compression equipment and field maintenance. You will work alongside experienced technicians, participate in site visits and inspections, and develop practical skills for a field technician career.

The role emphasizes safety, on‑the‑job learning, and collaboration within a team while supporting the safe and reliable delivery of energy across North America.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited technical/trades program (Mechanical, Chemical, etc.).
• Completion of at least one academic term before May 2027.
• Returning to full-time studies after the work term.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the term.

Responsibilities

• Assist field operations and maintenance of natural gas compressors and related equipment.
• Learn and apply safety protocols for field work and site visits.
• Support inspections, troubleshooting, and project activities under supervision.
• Develop practical technical skills for a field technician role.

Education

Enrolled in Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation, or related technical/trades program

Academic term completed prior to May 2027

Full-time availability for the term
