Job summary

USIC is seeking field technicians for the Advanced Gas Operations division to locate gas lines, mark sites, and protect critical infrastructure. The role requires working outdoors, sometimes in adverse conditions, with hands-on digging and travel within the local area.

We provide paid training, a company vehicle, and access to equipment and a supportive path for advancement. Overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call duties are required to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Previous outdoor experience is a plus.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Able to stand and walk long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology and maps/tickets.

Responsibilities

• Use locating equipment to determine the location of gas lines and mark area to prevent damage.
• Perform some hand digging as needed.
• Locate other utilities as required by project.
• Follow damage prevention guidelines and work on-call shifts as needed.
