Job summary

USIC is seeking outdoor-oriented field technicians for the Advanced Gas Operations division. You will use locating equipment to identify gas lines, mark the site, and protect critical infrastructure while working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. No prior locating experience required; on-the-job training provided.

You must be able to travel locally, work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. A valid license, good driving record, and ability to stand/walk long hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Read maps and locate tickets accurately.
• Basic math skills for distance calculations.

Responsibilities

• Use locating equipment to find gas lines and mark area.
• Occasionally dig by hand to expose lines.
• Travel locally and work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Follow damage prevention guidelines and company policies.
