Job summary

USIC is seeking a dedicated locator for its Advanced Gas Operations division. You will locate gas lines using field equipment, mark areas, and ensure safe, damage-free operations. Training is provided; no prior locating experience required, though helpful.

This is a daytime, full-time role with possible overtime and on-call shifts. Eligible candidates should enjoy outdoor fieldwork, be comfortable with a company vehicle, and pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with locating technology and field safety practices.
• Ability to read locate tickets/maps and perform basic measurements.
• Willingness to travel locally and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Use locating equipment to determine gas line locations and mark areas to prevent damage.
• Perform hand digging as required to expose lines.
• Follow safety and damage-prevention guidelines in all tasks.
• Support other utilities location work as needed in projects.
