Job summary

USIC is seeking field technicians to perform gas line locating and marking in designated areas. You will work with company-provided vehicles and equipment, following safety guidelines and completing tickets accurately.

The role is outdoor, physical, and requires flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. Prior locating experience is not required, but safety-conscious, problem-solving candidates thrive here.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass a drug screen due to safety-sensitive duties.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to stand and walk long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Color identification skills to distinguish wiring.
• Proficiency with technology and maps/tickets.

Responsibilities

• Use locating equipment to locate gas lines and mark areas to prevent damage.
• May perform hand digging to expose lines when needed.
• Develop knowledge of underground infrastructure and safety guidelines.
• Follow client, state, and federal damage-prevention guidelines.
• Work daytime, full-time with overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
