Job summary

USIC is seeking field technicians for Advanced Gas Operations to locate underground gas lines and mark the areas to prevent damage. You will work outdoors using company vehicles and equipment, with paid training and advancement opportunities.

No prior locating experience is required, but a strong safety mindset and ability to travel locally are important. This is a daytime, full-time role with occasional overtime and on-call duties for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and maps or tickets.

Responsibilities

• Use locating equipment to determine the location of gas lines and mark the area.
• Some hand digging to unearth gas lines may be required.
• Develop knowledge of underground utility infrastructure.
• Follow damage prevention guidelines.
• May locate other utilities depending on project.
• Daytime, full-time positions.
• Overtime, weekend, and on-call shifts may be required.
