Job summary

USIC is seeking motivated locators for our Advanced Gas Operations team in Texas. You will locate underground gas lines using specialized equipment, mark the site, and ensure safety during field operations. No prior locating experience is required, though helpful; training is provided.

This is a daytime, full-time role with overtime, weekend, and on-call opportunities. A valid driver's license and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Able to read and reference locate tickets, maps and prints.

Responsibilities

• Use locating equipment to determine gas line locations and mark area to prevent damage.
• Develop knowledge of underground utility infrastructure and follow guidelines.
• May locate other utilities in addition to gas lines depending on project.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
