Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years of related engineering experience (gas experience a plus).
• Knowledge of government codes and regulations and welding/fusing principles.
• Familiarity with environmental requirements and MS computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Designs systems or installations to fit company objectives and comply with codes and regulations.
• Performs site layouts and prepares documents for procurement, permitting and construction.
• Evaluates bids, awards purchase orders, and assists with capital project budgets.
• Develops field procedures to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Coordinates construction activities with customers, contractors, and internal departments.
• Monitors progress and advises on schedule, costs, and resources.
• Ensures work complies with safety and procurement policies.
