Job summary

LG&E and KU Energy LLC is seeking a Planning/Scheduling professional to optimize Gas Distribution Operations construction projects. The role focuses on planning and scheduling Gas Construction and Gas Operations & Maintenance resources, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
Capable of meeting tight deadlines with high quality work.
Experience with project management software preferred.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and material lists.

Responsibilities

Review manpower requirements in the work management software and align with project needs.
Prepare reports, charts and graphs for management on workforce utilization and resource optimization.
Coordinate across departments to ensure smooth progress of jobs and avoid bottlenecks.
Schedule and assign projects based on workload, prioritization, and available resources.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting for Gas Construction projects.
May report to multiple locations as needed.
Comply with policies and standards.
