Job summary

Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company seek a seasoned Project Coordinator to supervise contractor activities across LG&E-KU facilities. You will coordinate safety, schedule, and quality, and act as liaison among management, engineers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 15+ years in production maintenance, power production, or industrial construction projects.
• Preferred: PM certification or equivalent training; strong construction management skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe contractor construction activities at LG&E and KU facilities.
• Monitor safety performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate work between contractors and company operations; advise management on issues.
• Review design documents and provide constructive comments.
• Mentor construction coordinators and foster a cohesive team.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, hot work, and confined space policies.
• Support accident investigations and improve safety performance.
