Job summary

NRG is seeking an energy scheduling professional at its Princeton office to analyze customer usage data, forecast needs, and coordinate with trading and wholesale teams. The role requires strong analytical and Excel skills and attention to detail.

You will nominate gas to LDC websites, manage daily adjustments, and work a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule, with travel as needed. A bachelor's degree is preferred; two years in gas scheduling is a plus. Hybrid work with three days in office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel; ability to work with multiple computer programs.
• Ability to multi-task and think strategically.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer usage data and develop forecasts.
• Communicate with trading and wholesale teams to determine supply solutions.
• Nominate gas to Local Distribution Company (LDC) websites.
• Confirm nominations and adjust daily positions as needed.
• Trade imbalances to balance pools and mitigate penalties.
• Work rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.
