Job summary

Flowserve, a global leader in pumps, valves and seals, is seeking a GasPac Compressor Seals & Systems Sales Specialist to grow our rotating equipment solutions across North America. You will pursue greenfield opportunities, support plant turnarounds, and expand Flowserve's footprint with critical end-users in energy, chemical and power sectors.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 6–10 years of technical sales or engineering experience within rotating equipment, mechanical seal, or turbomachinery industries.
• Deep technical understanding of compressor seals, dry gas seal systems, and API standards (API 682, API 692).
• Proven track record of territory growth and proactive business development in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with a technical, consultative sales approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive direct sales and growth for specialty compressor seals, dry gas seals, and auxiliary support systems across North America.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities at chemical plants, refineries, and power generation facilities.
• Partner closely with regional distributors and channel partners to maximize market penetration and revenue targets.
• Provide expert field-level technical support, engineering consultation, and troubleshooting for rotating equipment and sealing systems.
• Utilize installed-base tracking dashboards and historical maintenance data to uncover lifecycle replacement and upgrade cycles.
• Deliver persuasive technical presentations, manage customer proposals, and negotiate service agreements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal engineering, customer service, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
