Job summary

You will work with multiple agencies, manage electronic files, and support payroll and tax specialty areas. The role requires 1–2 years of multi-state garnishments experience, strong attention to detail and solid Excel/Outlook skills, with excellent communication by phone and email.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience processing multi-state payroll and garnishments.
• Experience handling multi-state involuntary wage assignments.
• Ability to compute disposable income and interpret withholding orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enters and answers withholding orders for garnishments and other involuntary wage assignments within regulated time periods.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and task prioritization.
• Works with outside agencies to resolve issues regarding withholding orders.
• Maintains electronic files for notices of withholding for all employees.
• Supports payroll processing and tax specialty areas as needed.
• Assists Garnishment Manager and Payroll Director with special projects.
