You will audit time records, handle off-cycle and retroactive payments, respond to inquiries, and support payroll tax and garnishments while collaborating with HR, Finance, and Ops to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
• Strong understanding of payroll concepts, practices, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle employee inquiries confidentially.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; able to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process payroll transactions for 150,000+ employees within deadlines.
• Utilize audits, validation reports and queries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review time records, identify discrepancies and correct as needed.
• Calculate and process retroactive pay and off-cycle payrolls.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Respond to payroll inquiries via phone and email with professional service.
• Support SOX controls and payroll-related training; assist with tax and garnishment tasks.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Ops; contribute to process improvements.
