Job summary

ExtensisHR is seeking a Garnishment Specialist to own end-to-end processing of wage garnishments, IWOs, and levies across client bases. You will validate orders for authenticity, ensure correct employer-of-record, and communicate with courts, agencies, and clients to meet deadlines.

The role combines Legal & Compliance with Payroll, requiring meticulous attention to detail and clear guidance to clients and employees across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Experience handling wage garnishments, IWOs, and related notices.
• Strong understanding of federal and state wage laws and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication with clients, employees, courts, and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Order Intake & Review: Receive, log, and review garnishment orders and related notices; validate authenticity and jurisdiction; coordinate with clients when misdirected or erroneous orders; meet statutory deadlines.
