Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Kitchen Prep/Salad Bar Attendant to assist Heart of House with ingredient preparation and to set up, maintain, and break down the Garden Bar and dish area according to Ruby Tuesday procedures and safety standards.

You will clean and stock prep and bar areas, ensure high quality presentation of food, and support the kitchen team during service while upholding sanitation and safety guidelines. Flexible shifts including nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs, repeatedly.
• Able to stand for long periods during shifts.
• Works in damp, hot work environment.
• May use slicers or other kitchen machinery.
• Flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cleans food preparation and production areas as required.
• Wash and clean fruits and vegetables following safety procedures.
• Measure and assemble ingredients and cooked items according to recipes.
• Maintain walk-in refrigeration, prep, and dry storage areas.
• Ensure high quality preparation and presentation of Garden Bar items.
• Stock and restock items to keep Garden Bar fully stocked.
• Keep floors and restrooms clean and sanitary.
