Job summary

Towne Park is seeking a Porter to provide basic general cleaning of the garage area and deliver hospitality to guests during their stay. You will assist with vehicle-related support, manage common areas, and handle light maintenance tasks in a busy parking facility.

This role runs about 25 hours weekly, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6am to 12pm. Benefits include accident and other insurances and participation in the 401k program, with eligibility based on hours and tenure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record and drug screen.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license.
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic general cleaning.
• Must be able to read and write Standard English language.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Must be able to write simple correspondence.
• Must be able to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems.
• Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed.

Responsibilities

• Cleanliness check each shift of all guest entrances/elevator landings in the entire garage.
• When appropriate use a mop or power washer to eliminate stains and wipe signage and way finding material.
• Maintain general cleaning of garage with proper tools and remove debris around vehicles.
• Wipe signage and equipment located at all garage entrances/exits with cleaning materials.
• Empty all returned guest key receptacles and assist with maintenance tasks as needed.
• General landscaping duties and seasonal outdoor upkeep.
• Snow removal from entrance/exit ramps and walkways as directed.
• Assist guests with directions and inquiries; provide area information.
• Protect guest confidentiality and security of information.
