Precision Door Service is seeking a Garage Door Technician to be the face of the company, combining consultative sales with technical know-how to deliver exceptional experiences for homeowners. You will educate customers on products, present repair options, and close sales while ensuring satisfaction throughout the service journey.

This role emphasizes relationship-building, product knowledge, and a commitment to excellence to drive customer satisfaction and branch revenue.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, customer service, or consultative selling in home services or related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; customer-first mindset.
• Ability to present tailored recommendations and close sales.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience during every service appointment.
• Build rapport with customers and communicate repair needs and options.
• Present multiple repair and replacement options and confidently recommend products.
• Generate and close sales opportunities through consultative selling techniques.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair and replacement projects.
• Educate customers on garage door systems, warranties, and maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed to customer satisfaction and resolve concerns.
• Review work orders and invoices for accuracy before departing.
• Collect payment at job completion and maintain vehicle readiness.
