A1 Garage Door Service is seeking a hands-on technician to diagnose and repair garage doors in customers' homes. This is not a sales job; you’ll fix issues and then communicate clearly with homeowners.

Work includes lifting 75 lbs, climbing ladders, and operating in hot and cold garages. The role is commission-based, with pay tied to closing jobs after earning homeowner trust.

Qualifications

• 21+, valid license, 3+ years driving record.
• Able to lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, work in extreme temps.
• Some hands-on mechanical experience or comfort with tools (home services, auto shops, DIY projects, etc.)
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, drug test (THC excluded) and driving record.
• Basic tech comfort (apps, tablets); reading/math for measurements and payments.
• No sales experience required, we teach that

Responsibilities

• Repair and install garage door components (springs, cables, rollers, openers, motors).
• Diagnose problems and fix them; speak with homeowners after work.
• Work daily in physical conditions and maintain safety protocols.
• Learn and apply selling skills to obtain customer consent and close jobs.
