A1 Garage Door in Milwaukee is seeking a hands-on technician to diagnose and fix residential garage door systems. This commission-based role centers on earning homeowner trust and closing repairs, with uncapped earnings potential.

You will perform physical, shop-floor work daily in garages, lifting heavy components, and building practical skills while learning to sell. A company vehicle, benefits, and a defined training path support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 21+, valid license, 3+ years driving record
• Can lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, work in extreme temps, regularly
• Some hands-on mechanical experience or comfort with tools
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, drug test (THC excluded) and driving record
• Basic tech comfort (apps, tablets); reading/math for measurements and payments
• No sales experience required, we teach that

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and explain repairs to homeowners.
• Repair and install springs, rollers, openers and motors.
• Lift 75+ lbs, kneel, climb ladders in extreme temps.
• Close sales to earn commissions; earn trust.
