Job summary

A1 Garage in Orlando is seeking a hands-on technician to repair and install garage doors. You will diagnose problems, communicate with homeowners with trust, and complete the repair yourself from first job to last.

This role is physically demanding and requires lifting 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working in extreme temperatures. Compensation is commission-based with uncapped earnings, plus a six-week training program, company vehicle and benefits.

Qualifications

• 21+, valid license, 3+ years driving record
• Able to lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, work in extreme temps
• Hands-on mechanical experience or comfort with tools
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug test (THC excluded)
• Basic tech comfort (apps, tablets)
• No sales experience required; we teach sales

Responsibilities

• Diagnose garage door issues and perform repairs
• Talk with homeowners to earn trust and close repairs
• Repair and install components: springs, cables, rollers, openers, motors
• Work daily in physically demanding conditions (75+ lbs lift, extreme temps)
