Job summary

Garage Door Doctor is seeking a hands-on technician for daily mechanical work in garages. You will diagnose issues, repair and install springs, cables, rollers, openers, and motors, then communicate clearly with homeowners.

The role is commission-based with uncapped earnings and a clear path to six figures over time. Training includes a Phoenix Academy, travel, and a graduation bonus, with a company vehicle and tools provided.

Qualifications

• 21+, valid license, 3+ years driving record
• Able to lift 75 lbs and work in extreme temps
• Some hands-on mechanical experience or comfort with tools
• Willingness to undergo background check, drug test, and driving record
• Basic tech comfort (apps, tablets); reading/math for measurements/payments
• No sales experience required; we teach that

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems, repair or replace components in garage doors and openers
• Install parts and perform repairs in customer homes
• Talk to homeowners in a professional, trustworthy manner
