• Comfortable entering customers' homes and working with commission-based pay.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and maintain flexibility, including weekends.

We are hiring a Field Service Technician for a direct-hire residential garage door service role in the San Jose area. This is a hands-on, field-based position where you will visit homeowners, diagnose garage door and opener issues, explain service options, and complete repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled residential service appointments.
• Diagnose garage door and opener issues.
• Explain repair and replacement options to homeowners.
• Provide estimates and collect payment as needed.
• Complete repairs, installations, and service work.
• Recommend products or services based on customer needs.
• Maintain professional customer service in the field.

• Acceptable driving record required.
• Must pass background check and Motor Vehicle Report.
• No DUI or more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Hands-on repair, installation, maintenance, construction, or tool experience preferred.

• Sales, upselling, field service, route service, or commission experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable entering customers' homes.
• Must be comfortable with commission-based earning potential.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be open to a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
